My Gentleman Companion Experience: Letter to the Editor Ignored

A wonderful client of mine, a farmer based in rural New South Wales, recently wrote an amazing letter to the editor of a leading rural women’s magazine, one focused on supporting women in remote areas.

Surprisingly, and disappointingly, she was ignored despite a follow-up.

So – I’ve decided to publish her letter, with her full approval of course.

This letter is an astounding insight from a regular client of a gentleman companion – as is the fact that it was ignored by a woman editor of a women’s publication. It says a lot about traditional societal values and the issues we choose to ignore.

How are you?

I was recently reading the latest issue of your magazine. I always enjoy the articles and quite often the stories hit home for me and impact on the way I think about certain issues. I find this quite often can change my perspective on things. It is for this reason I’ve decided to reach out to you on a topic that will seem to some as inappropriate. But having been a woman on the land for the past 15 years, I feel like opening up and sharing this experience really could benefit so many women on the land.

I am from a predominately dry land cropping and livestock area in NSW. As mentioned, I have lived on the land for 15 years. So many ups and downs. Working so very hard from raising the kids to running our agricultural business from the ground up. I think most country women who read the magazine fully comprehend and understand just how hard and lonely life on the land can become. From drought to floods, we’ve all been hit so very hard and it’s hard to see through it all at times and look for that light at the end of the tunnel. For me, that light came when I reached out to a male escort named Lucius.

I was very much struggling mentally throughout harvest last year and it was actually a friend who suggested this idea to me.

There is massive societal judgement when it comes to escorts, but it seems even worse when it is women reaching out to male escorts. As a country woman, I wanted to let you know my experience with this as it may help so many other rural women out there.

The first point is that for women seeking out male escorts, this isn’t about just sex. That myth needs to be dispelled straight away. It’s about so much more, as I quickly discovered when I met Lucius.

I wasn’t aware I needed or wanted anything more than a one-off experience. To me, I wanted to try this. To escape just for a small time from the hard tough life that most of us out here in the country lead.

Lucius, from the first interaction, was nothing short of amazing. Attentive, thoughtful, sensual and so much communication back and forth, which as women is what we all crave! After an amazing experience together, I decided to see him again. This was five months ago, and I now see Lucius weekly.

Some may struggle to understand this concept entirely but all I can speak of is my own experience and to say this has changed my life for the better is an understatement. The benefits of seeing him have flowed through and improved literally every area of my life. I really believe this is something that is so unexpected that even I wasn’t sure how to process it.

I am more present with my children. I work so much harder in all areas— which, of course, in the country, we all need that level of resolve and that ability to just keep pushing. He gives me this and so much more.

Lucius is based in Sydney and has some background agricultural connections and knowledge that I think is something no other escort would have. He’s very passionate about helping women like me on the land and is always very willing to meet me wherever and whenever it suits me.

Being rural or even remote, I don’t think women out here even consider this as it’s a question of access, but this has never been an issue and we’ve made everything work. Quite often Lucius flies to the nearest airport or even drives to me. No distance seems too far for him. He’s so very passionate about helping others and what he does, and this shines through every time we see each other.

My apologies for this long email. I felt it necessary to try and describe to you the impact Lucius has had on my life and just try and get the point across that I really think he could help so many more of us that are struggling.
